Installation and Design

Installation services include fresh installation of database or an upgrade of an existing database to the latest version. Design involves building a database for the required size and performance requirements. Upgrade involves performing a analysis of the current database environment and implementing a migration process from the current to the new environment.

Maintenance and Tuning

Maintenance Services includes periodic checking of database logs, checking of size for physical / logical storage spaces, update of software with patches and performing any routine  activity required by the system using the database.

Tuning Services include performing tuning of memory parameter, shared pool, table-spaces, tables, indexes, rollback segments, data files etc. Advanced tuning service includes monitoring query execution and their optimization.

Backup and Recovery

Backups are critical for any database. We create backup strategies for our client where none exists or review existing backup strategy to ensure suitability. We verify if the backup are effective and can be used when systems actually crash. In addition we implement various solutions for client who need high availability systems such as stand-by database and database replication solutions.
